Moosecakes are now essential at any canine culinary communion.
Why should your four legged friends miss out?
INGREDIENTS
11 beef ribs (raw)
1 packet beef stock cubes
1 packet 4-legs dog food (or 500 grams chopped gravy beef)
2 whole packs (ie 10 sachets) gelatine
2-3 litres water (as required to fill container).
METHOD
dissolve gelatine in 2 cups boiling water. add beef cubes and dissolve, then remaining water.
pack bones into a very large bowl or small bucket.
pour over 4-legs or gravy beef and work into crevices between bones
add the gelatine/stock mix, to cover the bones.
place in refrigerator overnight, till set.
turn out just before serving, add edible candles (beeswax) then stand back.
serves 12.
